What a Weekend for Amy Morrison and the Sensus Team!
The Sensus team riders competing at Sea Otter this past week, had one hell of a weekend, and especially Amy Morrison. She has already proven herself as the top American female enduro racer, and the results from this weekend will only add to her legacy. Starting out the weekend she took home 1st place in Enduro, with a narrow win over Ella Conolly. Saturday night, she was able to keep her speed up and secured another podium finish, and placed 3rd in Slalom. Then, to round out the weekend and pose on all the steps of the podium, she placed 2nd in DH. Such an awesome weekend for the Carson City Crusher. Amy also holds down a fulltime job as a teacher, where she is certainly the most bad ass teacher we would ever have.
Kyle Strait and the Strait Acres crew, with the help of RAD Trails created another masterpiece of a Slalom course for the event.
Kyle rode unbelievable, after breaking his back only 6 months ago! He is a beast and you can’t keep that man down. Such a Massive accomplishment to be back so soon. He made it through to the round of 16, before being defeated by Ryan Gilchrist, who went on to place 2nd.
The rest of the team also faired well and rode hard, with riders competing in all disciples. Cole Paton even scored a 4th place finish in the Pro XC. Congrats to all the winners and the unofficial start to the season.
