Did you get that one?… uhh I hope

Here is a little story for you. Leogang 2008 I think, I went over to shoot for NWD 8. Right before this photo was taken Andreu landed his first double flip after multiple attempts and people went way nuts. Well in this photo I’m not filming jack shit, the film in my camera had already rolled out. When Andreu was trying the double flip I had about a half roll, which is maybe 1:00 of filming in slo mo I would say. To get the necessary angle I walked in front of about 15 euro photo and video guys while playing the asshole American card. You know, like I had no idea why they were mad. So I’ve got all these pissed off krauts and a no way to change the roll of film before andreu goes for his next try. Andreu stomps it and my film rolls out as he goes off the next lip, thank fuck I got the shot. If you watch NWD 8 you can see the shot goes orange right after he rides away, that is my film rolling out, and I had no idea when it had actually stopped filming cause it was so loud there. Lets say I was sweating that one a bit, but then we got hobo drunk. Best part was the promoters thought sand on the floor would keep people from breaking bottles, but that only made them break em on the ceiling instead.
